Create a Sanford Harmony account
Create and populate your Sanford Harmony account in four easy steps. The entire process can be completed in under 10 minutes. The program is free and also allows access to Sanford Inspire. This is a program which has Professional Development (PD) on building teaching practices and developing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) capacities.
Step #1
Open up https://www.sanfordharmony.org/ This is the site homepage, which will allow you to get started creating your account. The top right hand section of the page has a button labeled “Sign up Now”. Click that button now. You will be taken to the “Choose your program” page.
Step #2
While on the “Choose your program page” click on the “Register now for free” button at the bottom of the page. Doing so will allow you access to Sanford Harmony, Sanford Inspire and the National University resources. You will be taken to the “Registration page”
Step #3
While on the “Registration page” you will be asked to input your first and last name, email address, a user name, a password, phone number (optional), postal code, country, role, grade level, and organization. After reading the privacy policy, click “Submit”. You will be taken to your Sanford Harmony dashboard.

What is Sanford Harmony?
You may have heard about Sanford Harmony because your school is one of the 22,000 schools that are currently using it, or because your child is one of the 9 million students who benefit from the program. Sanford Harmony describes themselves as “…a social emotional learning program for Pre-K-6 grade students designed to foster intergender communication and understanding, connection, and community both in and outside the classroom and develop boys and girls into compassionate and caring adults.”
After having observed in classrooms where it is being used, and seeing the positive effects on the classroom community, I can recommend taking a look around the website. One feature that I like, is the ability to view lessons that support CASEL and Common Core.
